Founder

Ion was born in Athens and has a degree in Public Relations and Communication. He has participated as a speaker in conferences about waste reduction, as he is one of the pioneers in Greece specializing in technologies that aim to reduce waste.

Before launching «NO WASTE TECHNOLOGIES», Ion worked at a food company, where he realised the immense environmental and financial damage caused by the product destruction procedure due to date labelling (Best before, Use by etc.).

This led him to the idea of incorporating technology in applications, whose main goal is to reduce, or even better to eliminate the aforementioned waste damage.

Founder

Agorakis Bompotas holds a diploma in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras and he is currently a PhD candidate in Computer Science in the same university.

Over the past years, he has worked as a software engineer and has been involved in the development of numerous applications and information systems.

His scientific interests include Data Structures, Data Mining, Natural Language Processing, Distributed Systems and Big Data processing in general.
